Parks & Recreation Department Home
The City of Iowa Falls Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing quality leisure opportunities in parks and recreation services. Check our Activities page for a list of current and upcoming programs.
The classes and programs listed are designed to fit the leisure time needs of the community. The department attempts to organize special classes if facilities and qualified instructors are available. If you know of someone who would like to teach or have a suggestion for a new class or program, please give us a call. Waiting lists will be established for programs reaching their enrollment capacity.
Programs that are cancelled due to weather conditions, equipment malfunctions, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control will be announced on KIFG radio and signs will be posted at the site. Where youth are involved, parents are asked to pick up their children from the program site as soon as possible if threatening weather conditions occur.
All programs have a registration deadline. Late registration fees will be billed an additional charge. No telephone registrations will be accepted. All registrations are taken on a first come, first serve basis. All fees are payable at the time of registration. Registration can be conducted at City Hall located at 315 Stevens Street. If you have any questions, suggestions, or want further information, please call 641-648-3691.
Refunds will be given at the discretion of the Parks and Recreation Department with 10 percent being withheld for administrative costs.
Volunteers are needed for many of the youth activities. Interested individuals may contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 641-648-3691.
