In anticpation of the City's River Sewer Interceptor project, the Iowa River will be lowered starting October 18th. The River will remian in a lowered condition until mid-March, 2010. Any propoerty owners along teh river who wish to do maintenance on docks, or other work are encouraged to take advantage of the lowered river and make necessary repairs at this time. Please check with the City and Iowa DNR for any applicable permits, etc.
