The Mayor
is elected for a term of two years. The Mayor acts as the chief executive officer of the City and presiding officer for the council.

 

 

City Council

The Iowa Falls City Council consists of five members elected for

terms of four years.  The City Council meets on the first and

third Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m.  The meetings are

held in the Community Room at the Robert W. Barlow Memorial

Library.   Special meetings are scheduled as needed.
